The unique and sizeable premises can naturally lend itself to the cultural use of the space given its intriguing history. The property was formally passed on to Langue of Italy and used as a Commandery by the Knights of the Italian Langue. 

Existing Condition of the property

The building is in typical limestone masonry construction, dating back to the 1600s. External walls are over 80cm thick. The ground floor space is roofed with soft stone slabs and elliptical stone arches.

The interior stone faces and façade have been restored at ground level. Both floors are roofed over with soft stone slabs and stone arches, which have been reinforced and restored. The cellar walls mostly consist of charming rock face, presenting natural fissures. Original signage has been restored. A web domain has also been acquired to support the business’s online endeavours and will be included within the lease for the duration of the tenure.
